Wantful, Gift-Giving Start-Up, Announces Funding
Wantful, a start-up that hopes to reinvent gift-giving, announced Tuesday that it had closed a $5.5 million Series A round of venture financing. The company plans to take a bite of the current $109 billion gift card business, which Wantful's chief executive says has "been commoditized to the point of absurdity, and consumers are dissatisfied."
