Layaway makes a comeback for the holiday shopping season
Layaway is making a comeback, especially with consumers who avoid using or can't get credit. According to consumersearch.com, 42 percent of shoppers said they expect to use layaway to pay for holiday gifts this year. Retailers like KMart, Toys"R"Us and most recently, Walmart, are taking notice.
