Charitable gifts are hot this holiday season, but how do you know you're not getting scammed?

Friends, family and complete strangers donated to a fake charity that Ashley Kirilow set up. "Change for a Cure" was only a Facebook group, but it claimed to be a charity raising money for cancer research. Thousands of dollars disappeared into Kirilow's personal bank account before she came clean.
