Freebies, military discounts on Memorial Day
Veterans can save 10 percent at Home Depot, Lowe's on Monday. Hundreds of retailers and restaurants offer Memorial Day discounts to veterans, active duty and retired U.S. military, National Guard and reservists. In some cases, spouses and families members are included. Many discounts aren't publicized, so ask if one is available and have your ID handy to get the deals.
