Hampton teen earns recognition for her acts of kindness
A practice started by a Hampton High School graduate three years ago to help those less fortunate at Christmas time led to an essay on the experience, which has won her recognition and publication in the Allegheny County Library Association's "One Book, One Community" Essay Contest, co-sponsored by Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
