Salvation Army rebounds with record holiday gifts

ALEXANDRIA The Salvation Army has set a new fundraising record from its 2010 Red Kettle campaign during the holiday season, raising $142 million nationally. The figures announced Wednesday are a 2 percent increase over 2009's record of $139 million.
